Horizon EX-65 Elliptical Trainer

Heads up everyone - The computer console on the Horizon EX-65 elliptical trainer is junk!

My machine is only a year and a half old and the computer console has been replaced once under warranty and now it is broken again. Problem is that the machine is out of its one year warranty so Horizon customer service has offered me ONLY that I can buy yet another computer console for the wholesale price of almost $150, including shipping.

Why would I want to "throw good money after bad" and purchase another computer console? Obviously, Horizon has a problem with the EX-65.

I don't believe that Horizon makes the EX-65 model anymore but CAUTION - my bet is that Horizon's newer models may share some or all of the same parts and shoddy manufacturing as the EX-65. Not to mention that Horizon is not willing to stand behind their machine and instead is hiding behind their one year warranty.

Please think twice before purchasing ANY Horizon elliptical trainer.
