The Word on the Street

UPDATE: As of 2016, the Elite 14.7 is no longer being sold.  You can check out all of the current models on sale here.

The NordicTrack Elite 14.7 elliptical is newly launched for 2013, so there aren't many reviews yet, although personal trainers are already recommending it for users who want plenty of entertainment to keep them occupied while getting in shape.

Reviews tend to focus on the many extras, such as the built-in HD video system, complete with an inspiring personal coach who will motivate you while the elliptical adjusts to the beautiful and varied terrain on your 7" HD touchscreen. We know - it sounds awesome! Of course, it's iFit compatible and has a built-in web browser that also gets lots of attention from multi-tasking reviewers who like to check their email or read the latest tweets while sweating up a storm.

Our Thoughts

All of the features that elevate the Elite 14.7 elliptical from the mid-range to the upper echelon of elliptical machines are executed flawlessly. In-handle adjustments for the resistance and inclines make it easier to adjust your workout intensity, a built-in web browser and the heavy, 34-pound flywheel all combine in a machine that's truly top of the line.

There may be a few more bells and whistles than you strictly need, but this is an exercise machine meant to appeal to the person who has everything or can easily get it. They also got the basics right on this model, with an adjustable stride, an easy to read console, better than average speakers for your MP3 and a silky, quiet ride.

The NordicTrack Elite 14.7 elliptical may be the finest machine the company currently offers, and the sale price is a steal for what you're getting.
