The expert NordicTrack Elite 16.9 reviews have been positive since the beginning, and it has received a number of Best Buy awards in its price category.
It offers a really great value for what you receive. It's typically about $1700 when it's on sale, and it gives you features that you just don't find anywhere else.
There's not too much difference between the 16.9 and the NordicTrack 12.9 trainer, so if you already have a TV in your workout area you might want to consider that one instead, for a couple hundred dollars cheaper.
The Elite 16.9 is designed like a gym elliptical, with a heavy flywheel, adjustable oversized pedals and multiple position grips to vary your workouts.
You also get a nice amount of workout apps, at 35, and additional workouts through iFit. Add to that the generous stride length, incline up to a 20 degrees and 26 resistance levels and you can really take your workouts to the next level.
Users love the fact that they the machine is web-enabled and iPod compatible, which gives you a ton of things to do to occupy your time...keeping you motivated and looking forward to the next time you get to use it. The 15" HDTV is just the icing on the cake.
We like the NordicTrack Elite 16.9 elliptical simply because it offers so much without the typical high price tag. It's one of their best built machines and with a 375 lb weight capacity and long stride it can accommodate all users.
Like we mentioned you should check out the 12.9 as well if you don't need the TV, but for the price you might as well go with this one as it's only a couple of hundred dollars more.
You get a rock solid warranty, a free wireless chest strap for accurate heart rate monitoring and more features and capabilities than you can imagine. For this reason it's one of our top choices.
