My Proform Thinline XP480 console got burnt out ($200). Absolutely no response or help from the company. Sears is worse.

ProForm Elliptical Bought at Sports Authority by: Anonymous
Got a ProForm elliptical in early June 2011 for approximately $900.00. After eight weeks of regular use, it started making a banging noise on each stroke, Upon closer inspection I found that a plastic part had basically disintegrated.
Called Sports Authority and they did a Pontius Pilate on me, saying they only are responsible for the first month. How convenient for them.
Now I'm calling ICON Fitness in Utah while the pile of ProForm metal mocks me from the other side of the bedroom. If I don't get quick satisfaction from ProForm, I'm going to Sports Authority and I'm going to drag this thing in and give them all the bad publicity I can and that's after I file a small claims suit against them.
