Reebok 1000 ZX Elliptical - Failed After 1 Year

My Reebok 1000 ZX elliptical failed after only 1 year. Of course it was out of warranty - how convenient. They were however so gracious as to offer to upsell me an "extended warranty" for only 1/2 of the price of the machine!!! $500 for a new computer board or the whole thing is worthless. What a waste. NEVER buy anything from ICON Fitness, Reebok, or Sports Authority - they all pass the buck and leave you holding a $1000 piece of crap.
