The Reebok 1000 ZX Elliptical with Motorized Incline Ramp

With an extensive list of features, the Reebook 1000 ZX elliptical is a gem among the dozens of also-ran models vying for attention in the budget-class mass market. You have to do a lot of things right to stand out from the crowd, and this is one machine that ICON Fitness can brag about. Reebok elliptical reviews don’t often give many stars to Reebok brand machines, but this is the exception.

What You Get

The Reebook 1000 ZX elliptical comes with a ton of goodies including the Audio CrossTrainer™ technology which is an interactive fitness coach that leads you through a series of strength-training and cardio exercises. The full list of specs includes:

  • Audio CrossTrainer™

The Word on the Street

Experts and trainers want you to pay special attention to the 30° motorized incline ramp, which is a Precor patent design. Not a lot of under-$1000 ellipticals can offer an incline which is advantageous for maximizing your workouts. This awesome feature of the Reebok 1000 ZX lets you change the shape of the elliptical stride, allowing you to target a greater range of muscles from your calves and quads, to your hammies and gluts.

Compare Reebok Ellipticals at WorkoutWarehouse

The Reebok 1000 ZX is well-liked by its owners. They are pleased with the elliptical trainer’s extensive programs, power ramp, resistance levels, and of course, the music port and audio training programs. It has a weak parts and labor warranty, but just about everything else rates above average with users.

Our Thoughts

For a lower-end model priced at $999, the Reebok 1000 ZX delivers better than expected. If you can’t afford a Precor, you can at least have a Precor-designed power ramp in your budget elliptical with this machine. The Reebok 1000 ZX elliptical looks great, feels solid, rides well, and has plenty of programs on the dash to keep you motivated and excited to workout every day.
