They like the fact that it comes with a heavy 18-lb flywheel, it’s constructed with a heavier steel tubing than other budget ellipticals are built with, and offers a power incline ramp designed by Precor. Other than some initial assembly problems, users who pen elliptical reviews on this unit are thoroughly happy with the ProForm Epic 1200 Pro. It’s well-built with a stable feel and can handle even a larger user weighing up to 350 lbs, which is unusual for most budget models. In addition, it comes with a pair of very comfy Gelstride pedals, and that’s just one more bonus to experience along with its smooth elliptical motion. Our ThoughtsWe haven’t seen the ProForm Epic 1200 Pro on a lot of Best Buy lists for units selling at this price of $999, but that oversight should be corrected soon. This model does so many things right that it’s hard to pick out the faults.
