The NordicTrack E11.7 elliptical is another of NordicTrack’s front drive series with a 28lb flywheel that has been inertia enhanced to give a more fluid ride. For a low price of $1000 this really looks like a diamond in the rough.
The NordicTrack E11.7 elliptical comes with a 6” display unit which is slightly bigger than some of the earlier front drive models which has a wide angle allowing users to view their time, calories, distance and track their quarter-mile. There are also a wide selection of 32 workout apps to choose from with 1-Touch™ resistance controls to allow you to quickly move through the resistance settings.
This model is compatible with IFIT® to track your workouts online through the application and you can listen to your own tunes using the IPOD® jack. A 28lb flywheel gives a great level of resistance and an adjustable stride length makes this model suitable for anyone.
UPDATE: As of 2016, the NordicTrack E11.7 is no longer being sold. You can check out all of the current models on sale here.
Reviews on the NordicTrack E11.7 elliptical praise it for its fluid feel and adjustable stride length making it comparable to many high priced machines found in health clubs. Users find the big range in incline great for targeting different muscle groups and to add variance to their sessions and definitely find it more challenging.
The ability to adjust your toe to heel angle is a great feature for this model and as reviewers we rarely find something that makes us excited but this would actually tempt us into buying it. A huge bonus noted by reviewers is the use of NordicTrack™ snap assembly meaning you can be up and using the machine in a matter of minutes.
The NordicTrack E11.7 elliptical really is a great low budget model which has added features that many of the high priced models simply don’t have such as the ability to alter the heel to toe angle. However the let down for us it the lack of a color/touch screen display that many other models have which leaves this model feeling a little old fashioned.
Here is your chance to rant or rave about the elliptical you use at home or at the fitness center.
