Star Trac 4810 Elliptical - Made in China

(Anonymous)

I bought a Star Trac 4810 and it says on the box 'Made in China'. It's designed and engineered in USA but not made in USA.

The quality of the frame reflects that. The unit that I bought has a defective battery. I'm returning it and will look for another brand.

StarTrac Elliptical Edge Consumer Review

by Annie
(Melbourne, Australia)

I used to use the StarTrac Elliptical Edge at my local gym.

I wanted to buy an elliptical for home, so I shopped around and couldn't find one, then compared to the StarTrac ones at the gym. So I tracked down a place that sold second hand StarTrac ellipticals exactly like the one (commercial quality) I was using at the gym and I bought one for AU$2,500 (in 2007).

I spent another $1,000 to make it run a little easier, and it is simply the best. I love it. Couldn't be happier with it. I think new they are about AU$8,000 but this is as good as new to me.

I've had it for three years now and have not had a single problem. Go StarTrac!
