The Word on the Street

Yowza Jupiter Plus Console

The Yowza Jupiter Plus has received great reviews from experts as well as users.  Although not as popular as brands such as NordicTrack and ProForm, Yowza has made a name for themselves by offering great quality machines packed with features that you just don't get anywhere else.

The SureFit pedals rotate back and forth with your stride, reducing impact on your joints.  Therefore you can stay on longer.  Their SURE (Swing Up Reactive Elliptical) technology is rollerless which also minimizes impact by putting you in the ideal, biomechanically-correct position.

Perhaps the most talked about feature on the Jupiter Plus is the very generous stride length, which can be adjusted from 18" all the way up to 24".  This is basically unheard of, especially on a machine that is only $1600 on sale.

You also get up to a 35% incline (like the similarly priced Sanibel i35 model), another plus you won't find in this price range. (You'll typically find up to 10 or 15% if you're lucky)

The multi-grip handlebars are also a great feature, allowing you to change up your grip to target different muscle groups as you work out.

Lastly, expert reviews note the solid warranty as another plus and a sign that the company stands behind their machines.

Our Thoughts on the Jupiter Plus Trainer

The Jupiter Plus is a great elliptical machine, offering some really great features at a very reasonable price.  It's a nice step up from the base Pilot and the Jupiter, with a better warranty, longer stride capability and a few more features.

These machines definitely stand out, as they have a unique, funky design, and offer a break from the traditionally clunky looking elliptical trainers.

Yowza is growing in popularity and starting to get some Best Buy awards from some of the leading experts in the industry.  So definitely take a look at their offerings and see if they have one that matches your needs.
